Mr. Ken Sellers, 1960
PRR Men. Here is a photo of Ken Sellers. After many years as a fireman and engineman on the Pennsylvania Railroad's Middle Division, he finished his career as a hostler at the East Altoona Roundhouse. He's shown here in August of 1960 with PRR engine #5820 that was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as a 3,000 horsepower BP-60 for passenger service in February of 1948, later regeared and downgraded to a 2,500 horsepower BP-50 for freight and helper service, and retired in April of 1962 after just 14 years of revenue service.
