NJT 4877, GG-1, c. 1981         
Here is an image of a photo of (L to R) New Jersey Transit locomotives #4877 and #4879. Both are GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electrics built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Juniata, rated at 4,620 horsepower each, and both on display at the United Railway Historical Society in Boonton, New Jersey. #4877 was constructed during January of 1939, while #4879 was built in February of the same year. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Edward Kaspriske Collection.
