PRR 6762, M-1B, #1 of 2, 1955         
Here is the first of two successive images of photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken near Sunbury, Pennsylvania, in 1955. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6762, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata as an M-1A during July of 1930, rebuilt as an M-1B in April of 1946, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. Pictured at the far left is a youthful Ed Kaspriske. Edward Kaspriske Collection.
