| BNSF 255 is the third unit on a northbound manifest freight passing the Tukwila Sounder station. 255 is an SD75M, one of 76 ever built. 51 of these units were built for BNSF-predecessor Santa Fe, while the remaining 25 were given directly to BNSF after the 1995 ATSF/BN merger. All of the original Santa Fe units were sold to PRLX or Norfolk Southern, making 255 one of only 25 SD75Ms still on the BNSF roster. |
