PRR 7347, H-10S, 1948         
Here is a photo by Fred R. Kern that was taken in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, on 11 September 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7347, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company during July of 1913 and retired in February of 1960 after 47 years of faithful service. Note the Train Phone apparatus near the locomotive's bell. The names of the two Railroaders pictured here are not recorded. Gary Mittner Collection.
