| Union Pacific 4024 rests in Cheyenne in October, 1953. 4024 was one of three Big Boys in the 4884-2 series planned to operate in 1959, although due to a strike, only the 4023 would do so. 4024 would then be withdrawn from service, and scrapped on October 31, 1962.
