UP 4004
Four years before its retirement, 4004 trundles through the yard in Laramie. The engineer is dwarfed by the size of his articulated behemoth, which has just recieved a new load of coal and water. 4004 would become the oldest Big Boy to be preserved in June, 1963, when it was donated to the city of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Obtained from Union Pacific Steam: Big Boy Portraits (Bush, Ehernberger)
