The aging UP 4-12-2 #9011 "Union Pacific" type wheel configuration was built by Alco-Brooks in August of 1926 (serial #67034, class UP-2). This 3 cylinder loco was built to have more power and ride better at higher speeds than previous models. This loco served until being scrapped in June of 1955. Specs - 67" drivers, impressive 220 psi boiler pressure, two 27x32" outside cylinders & one 27x31 inside cylinder, engine weight of 495,500 lb, impressive tractive effort of 96,646 lb.
