CO 2-6-6-2 #1293 - Chesapeake & Ohio         
Fair quality photo of a massive Chesapeake & Ohio 2-6-6-2 Mallet Mogul steam locomotive built by Alco-Richmond in September of 1918 originally as Hocking Valley #218. The loco was absorbed into the C&O roster in 1930 as #1293. In 1952, it was sold for scrap to the Luria Brothers. Specs - serial #60223, class 200/H-3, nee-CO #218, 56.25" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" high pressure cylinders, 35x32" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 437,000 lb, massive tractive effort of 102,950 lb.
