Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8661, a K-3S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in July of 1913 and retired in May of 1947 after 34 years' service. It's construction number 40000 ~ the forty-thousandth locomotive produced by BLW! The photographer's name is not recorded. (#14 of 20) |
