Tom Beckett General This is the same location as the shot of WR 6 with the GP 39's, looking the opposite direction. The train is on the 1 runner, heading toward the Susquehanna River and BD on the other side. The coaling tower in the distance was removed a couple of years after this photo, and a shop built roughly on the same spot. The road at left in the photo is NY 7, which follows the yard to the south end, and the ex DLW south almost to the state line. The Town of Conklin line is about at the base of the ramp leading to the overpass over the tracks. 11/12/2021 5:26:15 AM
