PRR Trenton Engine House, #1 of 2, c. 1954         
Here is the first of three original photos by Douglas C. Jones that were taken at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Engine House in Trenton, New Jersey, c. 1954. Shown here (R to L) are engines #5409, #1120, and three more locomotives whose road numbers are not recorded. #5409 and #1120 are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics." #5409 was constructed by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during February of 1927 and retired in February of 1955. #1120 was built in Juniata in July of 1917, streamlined in 1940, and retired in December of 1954. Partially visible at the left is the Trenton Coaling Tipple.
