PRR 4318, EP-22, 1967
Lorenz. Here is a photo via Bob Lorenz that was taken in Bucyrus, Ohio, in 1967. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4318 and two more "EP" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #4318 is an EP-22 constructed as number "5838" in February of 1951, rated at 2,250 horsepower, and renumbered "4318" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. How much would you like to have lived in that house at the far left? (Gift from Brad Mann.)
