A&LM NW2 10
Arkansas & Louisiana Missouri number 10 was an NW2 built in October 1949. The locomotive was shown here at Monroe, Louisiana in a fresh coat of paint, ready for a National Railway Historical Society fan trip to Crossett, Arkansas and back. The unit was subsequently Arkansas Louisiana & Mississippi 1001 in 1993 and was sent to Georgia-Pacific's Port Edwards-Nekoosa Interplant RR at Port Edwards, Wisconsin in January 1996. It became Domtar 1001 in 2001 when the plant was sold and went to the Mid-Continent Railway Museum at North Freedom, Wisconsin in 2018.
