PRR 6331, I-1S, 1947         
Coal Power. Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Cresson, Pennsylvania, on 4 October 1947. Caption On Reverse: "Last train between Cresson and Punxutawney; Oct. 4th, 1947." Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6331, an I-1S (2-10-0) "Decapod" built in Juniata during July of 1919 and retired in March of 1950 after 31 years of faithful service. The names of the engineman and fireman are not recorded.
