PRR Switcher, c. 1948
Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer of a Pennsylvania Railroad B-6SB (0-6-0) locomotive shifting a "Doodlebug" at the PRR Passenger Station in Reading, Pennsylvania. Mr. Roger Radbill notes that "According to Form MP229 dated July 1 1949, there was only one Motor Car on the Eastern Region, Eastern Pennsylvania Division, Philadelphia Division: #4661, an OEG350, which is what the type is in the photo." The action is framed by the Penn Street Bridge. The date is an approximation. Roy Healey Collection; #11 of 11.
