Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, perhaps during 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9608, an AF-16 built by the American Locomotive Company in May of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in July of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. The exact date is not recorded. ("LouisFols"; #2 of 31)
