BO 2-6-6-2 7552 - Baltimore & Ohio  Contributor's Pick!       
Beautiful example of a 1923 Alco-Brooks built 2-6-6-2 steam locomotive originally built as BR&P 752 but renumbered later as 7552. Specs - class KK-4, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x32" cylinders, engine weight of 445,000 lb, excellent tractive effort of 75,112 lb. No date, location or photographer listed for this photo. The location could very well be either Ricker, PA or East Salamanca, NY, with the low mountain range in the background.
