PRR 1512, H-3A, c. 1915
Old Time PRR. Here is an enlarged view of a portion of the photo taken from atop the coaling wharf in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. Prominent here is PRR engine #1512, an H-3A (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during 1892 and retired in May of 1915. [This data might be inaccurate.] It will soon be scrapped. In the early 1950's, a Reclamation Plant (aka scrap dock) was built in the southeastern portion of the Yard. William E Burket Collection.
