| EJ&E Baldwin DT-6-6-2000 708 at Joliet, Illinois on February 13, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 708 was built in April 1948 (c/n 73716) as EJ&E 108, was rebuilt in December 1956, renumbered to 708, retired in December 1966 and sold to Joliet Railway Equipment. The rebuilding process was done by the EJ&E and replaced the original 606SC prime movers with improved 606A's. |
