MILW 2-6-0 #2967 - Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul & Pacific  Contributor's Pick!       
With much appreciated background information from Wayne DeMunn (see comment below), this loco was originally built by Alco-Brooks in 1905 for the Illinois, Iowa & Minnesota RR which was renamed 3 years later as the Chicago, Milwaukee & Gary Rwy. It became part of the massive Milwaukee Road and served it well until hitting this deadline in the St Paul yard in 1933. Robert Graham photo credit
