Interesting original photo taken by Clyde L. Harper of a switcher that doesn't seem to appear on most Monon steam rosters. Specifics - Alco-Brooks, sometime between 1905-07, B-8 class and retired sometime between 1940-49.

Eric Reinert General She's missing her main rod. This style lettering says mid-to late '30's probably. Slide valves, arched windows: These obviously didn't get rebuilt by the Monon in the 1920"s like their ancient 4-4-2's, 2-6-0's, and 4-8-0's. 10/19/2017 12:12:53 AM
