BRP 4-4-2 #165 - Buffalo, Rochester, & Pittsburgh Rwy  Contributor's Pick!       
Here's a good looking and clean example of an Atlantic type locomotive built in 1903 by Alco-Schenectady for the Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh Rwy. Specifics - W-3 class, 72" drivers, 19½x26" cylinders (2), 200 psi boiler pressure, engine weight of 176,680 lb, tractive effort of 23,343 lb. It was acquired by B&O in 1932 and later renumbered #1489. The loco was finally taken out of service on April 2, 1935 and sold for scrap to DuBois Scrap Iorn & Metals Co. No photographer listed and the date is approximate.
