| Burlington Northern Railroad GP35 2565 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in April 1982, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This locomotive was built in April 1964 as SLSF 715 (c/n 28926) on EMD Order 7705, an order for 16 GP35's (#'s 701-716). This locomotive illustrates the extended fuel tank option (3000 gallons) which forced the air reservoir tanks to the roof. This unit was retired July 1985. |
