Title:  MP (NO&LC) S1 9015

Here was Alco S1 9015 and caboose 2618 at the NO&LC’s headquarters in Algiers, the New Orleans neighborhood on the west side of the Mississippi River. The 9015 was the last of three Alcos (9013-9015) built for the NO&LC in October and November 1947. It was renumbered 6606 in 1961 and went to the Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal two years later, where it was renumbered 24. It was out of service by May 1978 and was scrapped in 1986.
