CP 4-6-0 #518 |
Description: |
Caught in a wintry scene in Canada, this Canadian Pacific 4-6-0 ten wheeler still heads up a passenger train at an unidentified location. Not much corroborating resources for this possibly 1902 built locomotive. Can anyone help? No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo. |

CP 4-6-0 #572 |
Description: |
Although all the online sources point to this being a 1903 Alco-Schenectady built 4-6-0, there is no typical builder's plate as are on most of the other Alco locos. The photographer, J.R. Quinn, listed the location as "East Coulee, BC" but I believe it's East Coulee part of Drumheller, Alberta Canada. |

CP 4-6-0 #579 - Canadian Pacific |
Description: |
Great travel photo with the 1903 Alco-Schenectady built 4-6-0 ten wheeler as the backdrop for a family snapshot. A note on the back of the photo states "The 'engine' which carried you through the Canadian Rockies. C.P.W." No date, location or photographer's name was listed for this photo but it could be North Vancouver, BC, Canada. |

QUEBEC CENTRAL 1072 |
Description: |
The QC was a Canadian Pacific subsidiary. The D10k 4-6-0 was owned by the CP and loaned to the QC. She was built by Schenectady in 1912 and scrapped about a year after I saw her in Farnham -- relatively few CP engines were still in steam at this late date but many were still as well cared for as 1072. |
