| Description: |
The newest addition to the museum's fleet of historic locos is this Alco product of 1950. Built for the Birmingham Southern as their 151, it worked at the Alpha Portland plant at Alsen, NY from when BS sold it in the 1970s until 2011 when it was acquired by the museum. It is in very good mechanical condition and requires mostly cosmetic work to get it back in service. |

A Meet on the Berkshire Line |
| Description: |
While NYNH&H ALCo RS-3 #562 holds the siding at Lenox awaiting its turn to enter the station, NYNH&H GE 50 Tonner #67 boards passengers at the 1902-built station. In reality, these are the units of the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum, neither of which ever saw service on the New York, New Haven & Hartford. The NYNH&Hs Berkshire Line, which many similar locomotives once operated on, is now owned by the Housatonic Railroad and is traversed almost daily by newer, though not by much, EMD GP35 diesel electric locomotives. |
