Description:  This 2-8-0 Consolidation was built by Baldwin in March of 1913 as BM #2684. After nearly 33 years of service to the Boston & Maine, it was sold to Bangor & Aroostook in August of 1946 and renumbered BAR #196. It only lasted 4 more years before being scrapped in June of 1950. Original specs - K-8-b class, 61" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine wt of 219,400 lb, tractive effort of 48,200 lb.
