Description:  iLocomotives. Here is the first of four images of photos by Tower Operator Bill Smith that were taken from DR Tower in Derry, Pennsylvania, c. 1947. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7947, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company as number "9235" during May of 1916 and renumbered "7947" in March of 1917. Note the Brakeman riding one of the fully-loaded hopper cars in this eastbound train..
