Description:  Portraits 4. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via Arthur B. Johnson that was taken in Chicago, Illinois, on 22 August 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6996, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works during October of 1926 and retired in September of 1952. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #8022, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company during 1913 and retired in January of 1950. (#38 of 40)
