Description:  Here is a photo by William V. Russell that was taken in Morris Park, New York, on 2 November 1938. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3570, a K-2S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata as K-2 number "6621" in September of 1910, rebuilt as a K-2S in October of 1912, renumbered "3570" in 1913, and retired in July of 1947 after 37 years of faithful service. Note the LIRR Hostler on the tender's deck replenishing its reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" Gary Mittner Collection.

It was published originally in the March 1965 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 23. Top Photo: Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3570, a K-2S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during 1910 and retired in July of 1947. Bottom Photo: Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #3770 and #3684. Both are K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacifics" built in Juniata. #3770 was built during June of 1920 and retired in November of 1948, while #3684 was built during July of 1918 and retired in May of 1954.
