A somewhat beat up AlCo RSD5 sits on a siding off the MP/T&P in Pecos TX in 1983. It's presumed to be Duval Sulphur no1 (ex C&O 2006/5592) which worked the Rustler Springs mine north of town off the ATSF. The chalk writing on the fuel tank says "Ship PVSRR, TSB 180191". |
