This locomotive was built December 1955 (c/n 20534), became BN 9980 March 2, 1970, was sold to the West Suburban Mass Transit District (WSMTD) August 18, 1972, was rebuilt by Morrison Knudesen during March 1973, and returned to BN rails as 9910, leased from the WSMTD. It was retired from suburban service in July 1992, and went to the Nashville & Eastern. |
