Description:  3353 (with 3352) is a 1965 model R32A model passenger unit built by Budd and among the first of the R32 series delivered in August 1964. Paired set 3352-3353 was the lead on the inaugural R32 special operating from Mott Haven to Grand Central on the New York Central, September 9, 1964. Six of the eight cars on the inaugural special survive. 3352 and 3353 are in the New York Transit Museum (NYTM) fleet.
