Title: |
NKP 0_6_0 #79 - Nickel Plate Road |
Description: |
Caught in the late afternoon sun in the heart of Indiana, Indianapolis, just two years before it would be sold for scrap to US Steel Company. Built by Lima in March of 1918 (serial #5685, class B11c), it served nearly 33 years. Always makes my Hoosier heart feel good when I can post an Indiana related photo. The photo comes from the Howard W. Ameling collection. |
