Album Info:Here is a six-page article entitled "PRR Ventures In Locomotives." It was published originally in the October 1949 issue of "Trains" magazine, pages 14-19. No author is specified, but credit is given for many of the twenty annotations. Seventeen motive power categories are discussed: 15 steam, 2 electric. Some of these Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives were designed and built in Altoona, and many of them spent lots of time performing in Altoona's Locomotive Test Plant.
