Album Info:Here are more than 100 photos of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives. Some of them were purchased via numerous eBay auctions conducted by Mr. Brad Mann, but most were gifts from this very generous person. The photographer's name, the locomotive road number(s), the date, and the location are cited when specified.

Both are EFS-17M road switchers built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7257 was constructed in November of 1959, while #7084 was built in November of 1956. All were built by GM-EMD. #4248 was built as number "5788" in May of 1952, rated at 2,250 horsepower, and renumbered "4248" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. In this context, this A-B-A set is climbing the Allegheny Mountains and is about to pass through one of the tunnels at Gallitzin with a passenger train bound for Pittsburgh and points West. In this context, they're about to enter Enola Yard with an eastbound manifest freight train.
