Description:  After a long career on Espee this unit was released by UP after lease expiration then purchased by CIT Group entering CEFX lease pool and currently works on the DGNO unit rock train service. Other than the CEFX stencil on the cab, an SP-less nose, and a renumbering from 7486 to 9486 this big six axle EMD looks great in SP grey and red. Hopefully this diesel will wear this scheme for years to come. On August 1, 2008, DGNO purchased this unit but so far has not repainted or relettered this unit.

Description:  A rare diesel, built in 1985 for BN with an extended cab for a five person crew after the end of cabooses. After the end of five person crews the larger "crew cab" remained. Reportedly this unit was de-turboed and is classified as a GP25 rated at 2500HP although the exhaust manifold looks untouched. Nice to see a GP50 still at work.
