Description:  This should be Amtrak train #2, the Abraham Lincoln from St. Louis, due to stop at Joliet at 12:26 PM enroute to Chicago. Doing the honors is movie star GM&O 103. Although not appearing in the credits, she had a bit part in the 1967 film "In the Heat of the Night" with Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger. Behind the E7s (built for the Alton in 1945) are three UP coaches, a diner-lounge and a GM&O parlor car. Date of photo approximate.
